Hey there, Tina! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We’re so glad you're back to bring us your question!
Tina, don’t you just love the convenience of
Disney’s Dining Plans? As a budget conscious planning momma, I love knowing that most of my meals are pre-paid, so that when we’re at the restaurants, I can just relax, enjoy, and order what looks good and not what fits my budget. Yay!
When it comes to budgeting my Dining Plan Credits, using up some snack credits for breakfast is definitely a smart approach. I’ve done it both ways, where I use a snack credit for a snack-credit-eligible bagel or baked treat from my Disney resort hotel in the morning, and for those days I’m wanting to indulge in a tasty Mickey-shaped treat, I’ll have some granola bars handy that I packed from home so I can save some of those credits to enjoy some tasty treats at the parks later in the day. Just keep an eye out for the DDP Snack Logo posted on the menus so you know what yummy foods qualify as snacks.
Tina, if you’re visiting during one of Epcot’s fantastic festivals, be sure to save up some of those credits so you can use them at the outside kitchens and try some of those delicious bites from around the world. During springtime, the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, a personal favorite, is in full bloom! You won’t want to miss the amazing character topiaries and stunning flowers and gardens throughout the park. It’s a sight!
Thanks again for stopping by! Be sure to lock in all your favorite restaurant reservations early. You can book those as soon as 180-days ahead.
Have a magical day and see ya real soon,
Emille
