Any suggestions on unique, fun experiences an eleven year old boy might love. Don't think my son will appreciate character meals as he did when he was younger and still looking to find some unique magic for him. Thanks a million!

    Hi April:

Yo ho, yo ho: if your son is anything like my sons (or me), he loves pirates. Make a reservation for him to be transformed into a pirate for the day at The Pirates League. Simply call (407) WDW-CREW (939-2739) for reservations (theme park admission required). He will go into The Pirates League a civilian and leave as a pirate with a new pirate name, a pirate look, a pirate oath, and some sweet new swashbuckling maneuvers.

If your son likes to fish, consider some bass fishing. Call (407)939-BASS or (407)WDW-PLAY for more information.

For a dinner event, head to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Hoop-Dee-Doo is a vaudeville-style dinner show with a country twist. Dinner is served family style and includes favorites like fried chicken, smoked bbq pork ribs, fresh corn bread, strawberry shortcake and the most delicious country-style baked beans I have ever tasted.

If you want more activities you son may like, check out the two water parks, miniature golf, and watercraft rentals.

    Enjoy your vacation.
