    Any suggestions on what time we should leave the Disney Port Orleans Resort French Quarter for a character breakfast reservation that is set 9:45 A.M. at Chef Mickey's Disney Contemporary Resort? And what mode of transport to take? Thanks!!!

    According to the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, if you are utilizing Disney transportation, it can take 22-32 minutes by bus o get to the Magic Kingdom from Port Orleans French Quarter. Once you are at the Magic Kingdom, you'll need to go to the Contemporary Resort which could take up to 11-16 minutes by monorail or about 10 minutes by walking. 

    So with all of that combined, I'd allow at least one hour for travel time so that you have a little extra window of time. If you end up arriving much earlier than expected, there are several shops at the Contemporary Resort that are fun to explore. 

    If you'd prefer to cut down on your travel time, you could certainly take a taxi directly from your resort to Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. Bell Services at your resort can help you with getting a taxi if one isn't immediately available.
