Suggestions for what to prioritize for a 3 year old? Spending majority of our time at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom

Hey there, Shannon! I'm so glad you stopped by for some toddler time tips for your trip to Walt Disney World Resort. You'll be arriving in just a few days (hooray!), so we don't have a moment to lose - let's get to it!

A great place to start is the Attractions section of the Walt Disney World website. You can filter this by park and height to get a list of everything your Mouseketeer can enjoy in the parks.

At Magic Kingdom Park, there are all sorts of toddler-friendly rides and shows. Starting in Fantasyland is a good bet, as there are a lot of attractions that little ones can enjoy. Some highlights are Peter Pan's Flight, "it's a small world", Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Mickey's Philharmagic, Enchanted Tales with Belle, and Mad Tea Party! We also love the Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire show, performed several times daily in front of Cinderella Castle.

In EPCOT, check out Frozen Ever After and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. The Seas with Nemo and Friends is so fun, and just next door, you'll find Turtle Talk with Crush. This is a great park for some leisurely wandering, as there are lots of Character meet-and-greets and possibly the best assortment of snacks and drinks in all of Walt Disney World!

Next up is Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park! Here, I recommend the two fantastic live shows - Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue...and Beyond! Both are totally delightful, and Guests of all ages are sure to enjoy these. They also give you some time to get off your feet after lots of walking!  Another highlight is Kilimanjaro Safaris, which takes you on a tour of an African savanna featuring all sorts of live animals.

My top tip is to build in an afternoon break for a nap or pool time. The hustle and bustle of the parks can be a lot for little ones (and their adults!), and some rest time will recharge your crew for some evening adventures!

Shannon, I hope these suggestions are helpful and that you have the most magical time on your well-deserved vacation! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, and please come and see us again anytime.
