Any suggestions to prepare for Pirate Night? Will everything needed for me, my husband and 4 yr old son, be available to us on the Fantasy? Or should we prepare before we board the ship??? Thank you!

    Ahoy, Matey...I mean, Ruby!!
So yer looking to join Captain Hook's scurvy crew, are ye? Arrrgh, I'd be happy to help!

Pirate Night is by far my favorite night onboard a Disney Cruise. You'll start with a pirate-themed dinner, then move up to the Pool Deck for a Pirate Deck Party followed by Buccaneer Blast fireworks at sea (the only ones of their kind)! Afterwards, the fun continues with dance music and a Pirate Feast. Disney knows how to throw a party, and their Pirate Party is swashbuckling fun!

Every Guest receives a pirate bandana to wear, but you're welcome to bring all the pirate gear you need! Guests will dress proudly in all levels of pirate-y fashion.  Some will simply wear a pirate t-shirt, while others will go full-blown Captain Jack Sparrow! There's plenty of Pirate gear for sale in the merchandise shops onboard, or you can opt for a complete Pirate Makeover in the Pirate's League.

On our last cruise, we brought a pirate costume for our daughter (from Halloween), and made an appointment for her to get a mini-makeover at the Pirate's League. Little buccaneers get swords, scars, beards, bandanas and eye patches to prepare for the pirate life. They even recite a sacred Pirate Oath before they leave! It was a lot of fun, and we have some awesome pictures of our little pirate from that evening. Reservations for the Pirates' League can be made online, prior to your sailing, or by stopping by the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on Deck 5, Midship once onboard.

Arrrgh, I hope this help with yer plannin', Matey! Yo Ho, Yo Ho, I hope ye have a rollickin' good time on yer vacation! - Diane W.
