Do you have any suggestions for making our viist to WDW special for my parents? They have been married 53 yrs. Their first date was the movie "Lady and the Tramp". We have reservations for Tony's. It's their 1st visit to WDW. Anything you can

    Hi Jeff,
Your parents are lucky to have such a thoughtful son.  Please congratulate your parents on 53 years of marriage from the Moms Panel!

Definitely mention to the Cast Member upon check-in at your Disney resort that your parents are celebrating such a magical landmark. I'm sure they'll want to congratulate them as well. When my parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at Walt Disney World, I called the Grand Floridian (the resort at which they were staying) and asked to speak to room service. The Cast Members working there made great suggestions for special treats that I could have sent to their room. We opted for freshly baked cookies and milk delivered with an adorable 101 Dalmatians figurine. They still have that dalmatian in their kitchen to this day!

You may also want to consider checking out the beautiful flowers, balloons, and other surprises available through Disney Florist at  Another romantic option is to book a fireworks cruise by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.  That's a truly magical way to celebrate a wonderful life together!

Wishing your parents a wonderful first visit to Walt Disney World!
