Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask such a great question Jessica.
I have a large family of six so I fully understand your accommodation dilemma and desire to stay within budget during a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
If you're looking for a
wilderness adventure the very best place for your family to lodge would be in one of
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort; the rustic style cabins amply provide a party of
6 with a
home sweet home during a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
Each cabin boasts a separate bedroom which can comfortably sleep 4 adults, a family bathroom, plus a full kitchen with dining and lounge area with a pull-down
Murphy Bed that sleeps a further 2 adults. For my family the other major bonuses were a private outdoor patio area complete with picnic table and charcoal grill plus the added convenience of being able to park our vehicle right beside the cabin.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is practically a vacation destination in it's own right; settled within 750 acres of Pine and Cypress forest there's plenty to do with 2 swimming pools, restaurant and bar, sandy beach, bike hire, jogging trails and much, much more......and all this is only a short ferry boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom Park!
If I can help you further plan your Walt Disney World Resort adventure please don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question.
Have a great Disney day.
