What suggestions would you give for dining and things to prepare prior to going to Disney with toddlers? Would you recommend strollers (2 toddlers going) or a carrier? We will be going to Hollywood Studios to see Toy Story Land.

    Hi there, Melanie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is SO SOON!!  I am sure you are eagerly anticipating all the magic that awaits you and all the memories you will soon make!  Experiencing Walt Disney World Resort alongside two littles will be so very special and whether or not they remember it, you will have some incredible memories from this vacation!

Traveling with little Mouseketeers is always a little overwhelming, and I hope I can help guide you in making the most of your vacation.  When my boys were younger and we were headed to Walt Disney World Resort for the first time, someone told me that the best thing I could do was to expect the worst and hope for the best!  And, you know what…it was the BEST TRIP!!  I went with very few expectations knowing that littles will often dictate how your day goes and I told myself that if they were fussy or I could tell they needed a break to take one.  I was so surprised at how much we actually got to see, do and experience!

Here are some tips that I can share from my experiences that will hopefully make it easier for you.  First off, definitely take either a double stroller or two single strollers!  You can rent one at the theme park or you can bring your own, but you will definitely want a stroller because carrying them in a carrier will be hot and extra tiring!  So, definitely plan on a stroller for the day!  Additionally, bring snacks and water with you because snacks can solve lots of problems!  If you have not made any Advanced Dining Reservations, utilize Mobile Food Ordering to order food ahead of time so all you need to do is walk up and pick it up!  This is a lifesaver when you have hungry littles that don’t want to wait in yet another line!  Before you go, read through the Parents’ Preschool Guide for information on how to make the best of your days in the theme parks!  I always found this to be incredibly helpful and filled with lots of tips for parents of littles!

But, most importantly, Melanie, have an amazing time!  Enjoy every special moment with your littles and make some incredible memories!
