Any suggestions on where to eat for my sons 9th birthday at disney. Cant seem to book Trex and will be at Animal kingdom durring the day, but can't decide where to eat. Any thoughts for a sports boy who loves chicken strips and is shy?

    Hi Ardeth,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  What a magical way to celebrate your son's birthday.  I'm sure your son will remember his special day at Walt Disney World Resort for year to come!

If you are at Animal Kingdom, and would like to stay there to dine, how about The Rainforest Café?  The theming is similar to T-Rex, however instead of Dinosaurs your son can dine with animals found in the rainforest like gorillas and monkeys!

If you would like something outside of Animal Kingdom, I have several options.  My first suggestion would be ESPN Club at Disney's Boardwalk Resort.  It is a sports fan paradise, and the Chicken Breast Nuggets are fabulous!  After dinner be sure to stay and explore the different shops, have fun in the arcade or just watch your favourite game on the big screen!

Another option would be Beaches and Cream, located at Disney's Beach Club Resort.  Here you will find classic dining options, but the Kitchen Sink is perfect for everyone to enjoy for your son's special birthday treat!

I hope my suggestions help Ardeth.  Please let me know if you need any additional information regarding my suggestions, or if you would like some others, please let me know.  I would be happy to help.
