Any suggestions on booking a budget room(preferably with a shuttle) for the night near MCO in October? Our flight arrives 11:30pm and our reservations are for the next day. It was $500 cheaper for us to fly in early! Also, can we still use DME the next day

    Hi Lisa!

Isn't it amazing how much one day can change the cost of a flight???  Have you considered spending your first night at one of the Value resorts on Disney Property?  Depending on the time of year, you can get HUGE deals on them.  It may be worth it for you to check into a Value resort for one night and then begin your actual vacation the next day!  Magical Express will run all night long, so don't worry about your late night flight.

If you prefer to just grab some shut eye as close to the airport as possible, not break the bank and have access to an airport shuttle, I have a great option.  The La Quinta Inn and Suites Orlando Airport North offers a free shuttle to and from the airport and offers a free continental breakfast!  I checked out the rates during the week and a one night advanced purchase stay was only $69.00 plus tax at this time!!!

You may certainly take Magical Express the next day, which is the day that your Disney Vacation begins.  Simply inform the Cast members at 1-407-WDISNEY that you will be using the shuttle on that day.  Have a wonderful vacation!
