Hello! I would like some suggestions as the best place to eat for lunch/dinner at MK, AK, Epcot, and HS. It will be our first trip for my boyfriend and I and do not want to miss anything but would like to enjoy some sit down meals. Please and Thank you!

    Hi Brittany,

Dining at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite activities. You'll find all kinds of options from casual to elegant. You can check out the menus for each on the Disney website or on an unofficial site such as AllEars.net to see which ones best meet your taste and budget.

Here are a few of my favorite table service spots at each park:

Magic Kingdom: Be Our Guest (quick service at lunch, table service at dinner), The Plaza (sandwiches and salads), Liberty Tree Tavern (family-style dining at dinner) and Crystal Palace (buffet character dining with Winnie the Pooh and friends).

Epcot: Rose and Crown (United Kingdom), Spice Road Table (waterfront dining in Morocco), Biergarten (German buffet) and, in the Italy pavilion, Via Napoli and Tutto Italiano. We also enjoy Tokyo Dining and Teppan Edo in the Japan pavilion. And we like to eat our way around the world, having small snacks at each pavilion.

Hollywood Studios: '50s Prime Time Cafe (comfort food with an attitude), Mama Melrose (Italian) and Hollywood Brown Derby (we enjoy the less expensive, more casual outdoor Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge).

Animal Kingdom: Tusker House (buffet). My family thinks Animal Kingdom has the least interesting sit-down restaurants. We usually eat at the kiosks throughout the park while we are there or go to the nearby Animal Kingdom Lodge, where we love Sanaa and Boma. (Tusker House is similar to Boma).

Downtown Disney: Raglan Road (Irish pub); Paradiso 37 (Latin); and Wolfgang Puck Cafe (Asian and California cuisine).

There are lots of great restaurants in the resorts as well. I'm limited on space, but please write back if you want more details on those or if I can give you more information about any of the restaurants I've mentioned here.

Many are very popular, so I suggest advanced dining reservation. Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Enjoy!
