    Any suggestions as to which Amtrak station to use? Orlando or Kissimmee? What is the best way to get to the Animation Resort- taxi or shuttle?

    Hi Erin,

    I would plug both destinations into the Amtrak site to see if one offers a shorter train ride or better price.  Getting to Walt Disney World from either is not difficult.  Kissimmee is closer to Walt Disney World but it might be worth arriving at the Orlando station if it offers you more favorable travel conditions.

    I suggest that you make arrangements for a private car service to pick you up at either train station.  I have used Means Transportation (www.mearstransportation.com) several times and with parties of various sizes.  I have always been pleased with their service and they typically cost less than a taxi.  It is really nice to have a car waiting for you when you arrive so that you can embark on your magical journey as soon as possible.
