Hiya Kristine,
Welcome to planDisney! Both Disney dining and nighttime entertainment hold special places in my heart, so I’m so excited to talk to you about this question. My Prince Charming and I always plan our evenings at Walt Disney World Resort around the fireworks and good food.
Kristine, depending on which fireworks show you want to see,
Happily Ever After or
Luminous The Symphony of Us, there are some really incredible (and some of my favorite) dining locations with breathtaking views of the shows. If you are “ready to begin” and want to check out Happily Ever After, I recommend one of my beloved dining experiences to you:
California Grill. I first dined at California Grill when I was expecting my daughter, so it holds a special place in my heart. The food is exquisite, but my favorite thing about dining here is the views of Happily Ever After. When you eat at California Grill, you gain access to the special fireworks observation deck at the
Contemporary Resort, where the music is piped in, the lights dim, and it is just you and a smaller number of Guests enjoying some of the best views of the show.
If Luminous The Symphony of Us is what you want to end your evening with instead, there are some incredible options within EPCOT to try (such as La Hacienda de San Angel or Rose and Crown). That said, I recommend taking in the show from outside the Theme Parks at
Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera instead. While I’ve never dined here for dinner, the breakfast is incredible, and many of my panelist pals have wonderful things to say about their dinner selections. The rooftop patio at
Disney’s Riviera Resort has some of my favorite views, and of course, the music for the show is piped in, so it will be an incredible viewing experience!
I know that was a lot, Kristine, but I hope that was helpful. As I mentioned earlier, this topic is one I’m very passionate about, so feel free to come back and see
me if you would like to discuss more or would like different recommendations. Before I let you go, don’t forget to make your
dining reservations if you want any of these options. Reservations tend to fill up fast, but when doing my research, I noticed that there was still availability for February 6th at the time I’m writing this.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
