What are suggested things to do with two teenagers and two preteen children in my party

    Hello, Adriana!

I recently had the opportunity to take my teen nephew to the Walt Disney World Resort for his first-ever visit, and it was a trip that I will not soon forget. Big kids really know how to create their own adventures at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, and you will have a blast following their lead. Your teens and tweens will likely gravitate toward the thrill rides, so don't be surprised if you hit every single roller coaster on your vacation!

Some of my teen nephew's favorite attractions are:

    • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom Park
    • Test Track and Soarin' at Epcot
    • Star Tours - The Adventures Continue, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and Toy Story Midway Mania! at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Your teens and tweens may discover even more thrill rides to experience over and over -- and over again! -- on your vacation, so it does help to have a good plan in place before you visit. I'd like to encourage you to utilize Disney's FastPass+ service in advance of your vacation. This service is complimentary, and can really help you to save time waiting in lines by reserving access to favorite attractions.

One more thing: Big kids also tend to have BIG appetites, so make sure you stop for snacks in between meals. You can find many delicious options at each of the theme parks.

I hope you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Adriana! Wave 'hi' to Mickey for me!
