Would you suggest using a Lightning Lane for shows, such as Beauty and the Beast? or Can you just get in line for that?

It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to planDisney! And now, we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair, as planDisney proudly presents…your answer!

Thanks for bringing a great question, Kelle! Lightning Lane is a great way to experience attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort! You’ll save time with shorter waits and get to experience more of the magic! That being said, Lightning Lane is probably better suited for some attractions more than others.

Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage, at Disney's Hollywood Studios, allows Guests to experience Belle and Beast’s love story. There are typically multiple showings of this musical! Guests can experience the show by waiting in line prior to the show. Getting in line about 30 minutes before the show begins should be sufficient. If visiting the park on a more crowded day, or if the musical is a "must-do" attraction for your family, you might consider getting in line a little earlier or using Lightning Lane.

If you are on a tight schedule, consider using a Lightning Lane pass for Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage. If you plan on spending the day at the park, you’re probably fine joining the standby line to enjoy the fun with Belle, Beast, Lumiere, and Mrs. Potts!

Kelle, if Belle and Beast are favorites (and I'm guessing they are) you might want to visit the Fantasmic! nighttime spectacular at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Our friends from the "tale as old as time" are featured in this fan-favorite show!

    Dreams do come true!
