Would you suggest 50 prime time or sic fi. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. This is our first time to wdw...we are there only four days.thanks for the help.

    Hi Christine!

While kids have different tolerances, I can tell you that when my son was younger, he loved dining in the cars! Then we took him back again around age 6 and he was scared of the Sci-Fi clips that played at the Sci-Fi Dine-In. He wouldn't step back in there for a couple of years!! Until then, I thought they were just silly movie clips. I saw them in a whole new light during my son's "I'm scared" stage.

Kids with fear of the dark may also be uncomfortable in this environment. Dining in a "car" though may be a great distraction! While our family loves this restaurant, these concerns should be noted due to the young ages of your kids. Then again, younger kids tend to love it. I think the problems occur when kids are a bit older and dwelling on the silly monster scenes.

The 50s Prime Time Cafe is great fun. The kids are likely to get a great laugh about Mom and Dad being admonished for having their elbows on the table. Ask for a TV table and show your kids how people used to watch television in black and white. Lots of kid friendly food here too!

These are two fun restaurants. The food at Prime Time gets better reviews!
