What do you suggest- Music Value or P. O. Riverside for late February '11. I have a 3 yr old & an 18 month old (also my husband, my mom, & possibly my brother). We would need to come back to the hotel for a naps. Pros/cons? commute? tot activities?

    Hi Lisa,

What a fascinating question!  While you could certainly make a strong argument for either of these resorts for your upcoming vacation, I think Disney's All Star Music Resort is a reasonable choice based on the size of your travel party and the age of your children.

Disney's All Star Music Resort offers a special type of room that would accommodate your entire group.  The family suites comfortably house up to six guests, if you prefer to stay together.  At Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside, you'd need two guest rooms.  You could price out both options to see which might save you more money.

Since your children are so young, I think they'd appreciate the larger-than-life theming at the All Star Resorts.  When your kids are a bit older, I'm sure they'd prefer the more elaborate pool at Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside, but the pools at the All Star Resorts are probably a better fit for toddlers.

The commute from the All Star Resorts is shorter to Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, but otherwise, the commute times from both resorts to the other three theme parks are comparable.

Good luck with your decision.  Let us know if you need any additional advice.

    Jill

PS.  Be sure to have a stroller for both of your children while visiting Disney.  This will give them a place to rest between attractions and you'll be less likely to end up carrying a tired child.
