Hi Desiree,
Thank you for dropping by planDisney!
Well, I love conferences that are close to the Walt Disney World Resort! First, I would check the conference materials to see if they have theme park tickets included. When I last attended a conference in Orlando, we were able to get park tickets that allowed us to enter afte
r a certain time. If the conference organizers are not offering tickets, then you can purchase
theme park tickets online.
If you have not created a
My Disney Experience account, create one. Once created, you will be able to
link your theme park tickets, park pass reservations, and advanced dining reservations to that account. We love My Disney Experience because it allows us to track our plans.
Prior to purchasing your tickets, check the
theme park reservation availability calendar to see which parks are available on the dates of your visit. Then, make
Disney Park Pass system reservations for the days that you have valid theme park admission. I suggest that you make those park pass reservations soon since park reservation ability could change at any moment.
If you only have a few days and cannot visit all four theme parks, pick your parks based on your preferences. We love all of them for different reasons. EPCOT will have the
International Food & Wine Festival in full swing at the time of your visit. It would be a perfect park to visit in the evenings after your conference. Of course, Magic Kingdom is always a must-visit park for us. Disney's Hollywood Studios is AMAZING with
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and, we always love the animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Consider also making a few
advanced dining reservations, especially if you are travelling with others who want to go to the theme parks. A few of our favorite restaurants include Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom, Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom, Rose & Crown Dining in EPCOT, and 50's Prime Time Café in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Desiree, happy planning for an
Incredible Disney visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
