Can you suggest any other Halloween activities other than Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party? Our son is only one and the party begins too late but we are hoping that there might be something else we can do with him?

    Hello, Carly!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family loves to visit Walt Disney World Resort over Halloween! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a fantastic party full of lots of entertainment, but can be a long day for little Mouseketeers. We have found that Halloween night can be just as spooktacular outside the Magic Kingdom! Select Disney Resort hotels usually offer fun family oriented activities such as costume parades, pumpkin decorating contests, crafts, movies by the pool and of course, trick-or-treating opportunities. You may even find parents participating in the relay games, and often a favorite character (or two) will make an appearance during the free activities, which usually occur early in the evening, so little ones still have the chance to participate before bedtime. Be sure to take a look at the Resort Recreation Calander found in your Welcome Packet for activities that will be held at your Disney Resort hotel.

Also, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more information about Halloween activities, yummy treats and merchandise offerings. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance as you plan your Halloween visit.

    Happy Planning!
