What do you suggest to do if the forecast calls for rain all day? We leave for Disney in one week and are staying at ASMovies and the forecast doesn't look good. :(

On rainy days, keep away from the Animal Kingdom. We once spent a very rainy morning there many years ago and were soaked even with our stylish Mickey rain gear.

Epcot is an excellent choice for rainy days. Each pavilion has at least one indoor attraction. Most offer rides, shows and/or food opportunities. Even Test Track offers a gift shop, KidCot station and showroom. Innoventions East and West are great stops during inclement weather.

While the Magic Kingdom has some outdoor attractions, many of the rides and shows are offered indoors. We've toured here in the rain and found that we could get a lot of things done without being too uncomfortable. In Fantasyland you can quickly stroll between It's A Small World, Peter Pan and PhilHarMagic. Then walk quickly to the other side of Fantasyland for Snow White and Winnie the Pooh, avoiding Dumbo and the carousel until the skies become clearer.

One of our favorite visits to the Magic Kingdom was after an all day torrential rain. We arrived in the late afternoon when the skies cleared and enjoyed the park which we had almost to ourselves. In the several hours left of touring, we were able to accomplish more than in the crowded afternoon anyhow!

Hollywood Studios offers many indoor shows that can be seen during a rain storm. However there is a lot of walking in between the attractions and not as many indoor activities as is offered at Epcot.

Another rainy day pastime is visiting the resorts. Eat a different food court.

See a movie in Downtown Disney. Shop. Go to DisneyQuest.

I hope you experience sunny days!!
