Do you suggest to check in early to the hotel as soon as it opens the 60 days before? What does this option allow you to do? Can we pick where our room is at? Or what floor it is on?

    Greetings to you, Ashley!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a question for us. I'm more than happy to help. It sounds like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is getting close so I know you must be excited. I hope you're ready to have lots of FUN and make lots of magical memories!

I definitely suggest that you do online check-in for your Disney Resort Hotel reservation in advance of your trip. This will allow you to add your expected arrival time which means the resort can hopefully have your room ready as soon as possible after you arrive. You can also add your credit card so that you can make purchases with your MagicBand, add a phone number to receive text alerts when your room is ready and even set up the Unlock Door feature with your phone. So basically it means that you can probably just skip the front desk altogether and head straight to your room once you arrive! If you have special requests about the location of your room, you can specify that when you do online check-in as well. Just keep in mind that the resort will do their best to accommodate your requests but there is no guarantee.

I hope this helps with your planning, Ashley and please stop back by if we can do anything else to make your trip more magical. Have a wonderful time on your vacation and enjoy every minute of it!
