    what would you suggest on bringing in a backpack to the parks everyday? do you suggest buying refillable gift cards from the disney stores instead of cash?

    Hello there Daphne!

    There are so many things you can bring with you to the parks! I have carried so many bags over the years and they are typically filled with the same things. I always carry a water mister to alleviate the heat. One of the fans that has a water reservoir beneath it is always nice to bring along as well. I carry my camera with an extra lens for farther shots, with extra batteries for the camera and the mister fan. Remember to bring extra memory for the camera specially if it has video capability. Sunscreen is extremely important. I went to a local Walmart and bought some waterproof sacks which came in various sizes with the biggest one capable of holding a football. With these I feel safe enough to take my bag on the water rides and not have to worry about my camera getting wet inside my carry bag. Don't forget your Sharpie and an Autograph book for the character meet and greets! I also pack some small ponchos for those brief afternoon showers. If you have some snacks they are very good to take along for quick bites in the parks.

    I really like the use of refillable gift cards specially for kids. They come in very handy and whenever you use the cards at qualified retailers, they provide the remaining balance on your sales receipt.
