Would you suggest the Arts and Animation resort or the Caribbean Beach Resort? Also any recommendations for easy planning

Hi Deanna! One of the most difficult decisions about your Walt Disney World vacation is choosing your resort. There are many things to consider with the most important being budget. The next thing I think about is location and finally amenities.

The Caribbean Beach Resort is in the moderate group and it is quite a large resort. To be honest it is actually my least favorite as it does not have a central lobby area that has easy access for the guests. There are many times when I have questions and I head to the resort lobby to get those answers and it is very difficult to do that there. If you do stay there I would also request to not be in a ground level room. They tend to be a bit musty.

My choice for you would definitely be the Art of Animation Resort. This is a value resort but the newest resort on property. The large pool is amazing and the decor is fun and fancy. Whether you choose a family suite or a regular room I think you will find this a great choice. They have a dedicated bus line to the parks and an up to date food court to fill in those meals from when you are in the parks.

Check out the Disney Planning Videos and the My Disney Experience help pages. There are many great sites in the Disney website, www.disneyworld.com that offer assistance and information. And of course you can always ask the great moms and dads at the Disney Parks Moms Panel any question you might have!
