    Are sugarcane or agave straws allowed in all Disney World Parks?

    Hello and welcome to planDisney, Pamela!

    Having your favorite drink at Walt Disney World Resort is a must! I scour the menus in the My Disney Experience mobile app to see what drinks I want to partake in, so your question is valid. 

    I have found that “plastic straws are not permitted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, water parks or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (Kidani Village and Jambo House)” via the Property Rules, Policies & Regulations. The regulations only reference plastic straws, so one can assume that the sugarcane and agave straws are ok to use and dispose of properly. Because I am not a fan of plastic or paper straws, I bring stainless steel straws on vacation with me. I will use them and keep them in a pouch when not in use.
