Sugar Loaf Key refers to one of the buildings at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. It’s one of my favorite sections of the Resort to stay at when I’m not staying at one of the DVC villas at the resort for several reasons! First, it’s right next to
Gasparilla Island Grill, the main quick service restaurant at the Resort. If you booked the
Disney Dining Plan during your stay, you’re just steps away from the refilling stations at Gasparilla’s! Next, you’re a short walk over to the boat launch that connects the resort to the
Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Polynesian Village. Finally, the Courtyard Pool is just outside of Sugar Loaf Key. There’s nothing like taking a quick splash after a long day at the parks with a view of Magic Kingdom fireworks in the distance!
