I suffered invasive breast cancer and have lymphedema flare ups in humidity. In the past, I was issued an Alternative Entrance card. I understand that the DAS system has been recently modified. I don't need a wheelchair - it's my arms. What happens now?

    Hi Angelique,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You will qualify for a Disability Access Service (DAS) card with your condition. I'm a Florida resident and it really does get humid here, especially in the summer (and I'm used to it after living here for more than 30 years). The great thing about the DAS system is that its not just limited to those that are wheelchair-bound; it is also used for non-apparent disabilities, like your lymphadema. So rest easy and scour the park maps for air-conditioned places to hang out, eat, shop and relax while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a wonderful vacation!!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
