Hey howdy hey, Jennifer! You’ve got a friend in me at
planDisney, so let’s get started!
Your visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth will be here soon… let the countdown begin! I’m happy to report that the Disneyland Resort strives to meet the needs of all Guests, including those with disabilities. In fact, the Resort offers
Disability Access Service (DAS) which is a program offered to Guests who have a hard time waiting in a conventional queue due to a disability. So, instead of waiting in the traditional standby queue, you would receive a return time the same length of the standby wait. If you think this may be beneficial for you, I recommend scheduling a live online chat with
DAS Advance. This service allows Guests
to pre-register for DAS services ahead of time with a live video chat as early as 30 days in advance of your visit, but no less than two days before your visit. It looks like you fall within that timing perfectly! During this video chat, you’ll have the chance to book up to 2 one-hour return windows
for select experiences, subject to availability. If you have any additional questions, you can also contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547, or send an email to
disability.services@disneyland.com.
In addition,
Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) and wheelchair rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis daily, in case that may be helpful for you. You can find these rentals located to the right of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance, and they can be used throughout Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
I hope this information helps you enjoy a comfortable visit to the Disneyland Resort, Jennifer! Please stop by with any additional questions… we’re all EARs!
See ya’ real soon,
Kristin
