Hi I suffer from motion sickness. Wondering about guardians of galaxy , ratatouille and Minnie and Mickey runaway railway. Do you think I would be able to do them ? Thanks stacey

Hi Stacey!  You must be so excited that your vacation is just around the corner!  Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will be underway.  Tickets are selling out quickly for certain dates.  If you are interested in attending the party, I recommend that you purchase your tickets soon.

In regards to your motion sickness, when in doubt, I would recommend you err on the side of caution.  There is nothing worse than not feeling well on your Walt Disney World vacation!  Let's talk about the attractions you are inquiring about.

Although Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is an incredible attraction, I would definitely recommend you skip this one.  This ride has a backwards launch with lots of twists and turns. Additionally, Disney has the following safety warning posted:

    • "WARNING! For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride."
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure do not have the safety warning noted above posted online.  That being said, these attractions use the trackless ride technology which will cause the vehicle you are sitting in to zip around with dramatic shifts of direction at times.  You will also wear 3D glasses and look at big screens, all of which can trigger motion sickness.  As a suggestion, perhaps you can watch a video on YouTube of these two attractions to get an idea of what you would experience.  If you decide they are worth trying, I would suggest starting with Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway first and see how you do with that attraction.

By the way, if you ever find that you are not feeling well, First Aid is available at all Disney theme parks and water parks.

Stacey, thank you for reaching out to planDisney and I hope you have the most magical vacation!
