Hi Jenny!
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for your kind words. We love to help our guests and if you have any further questions, you know where we are!
The Crystal Palace is one of my favourites restaurants! It’s such a beautiful location in Magic Kingdom Park, just steps away from Cinderella Castle.
While you enjoy your delicious buffet breakfast you will visited at your table by Winnie the Pooh and friends (Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet) – watch out for Tigger, bouncing all over the place, and be ready to give Eeyore a big hug. He’s so sad but always welcomes loving attention!
Depending on the time of your breakfast reservation you could be entering the park before official park opening time (look for the special entry point for ‘guest with early dining reservations’). You can check the opening times for all parks on this
calendar. As you make your way along Main Street U.S.A. you will have some great photo opportunities while the park is still relatively quiet. Be sure to take some photos of Cinderella Castle without crowds of other guests in your pictures! Look out for the
PhotoPass Photographers who will get the best photos of your entire group as Magic Kingdom park is just waking up for the day. I think it looks the most beautiful at that time.
Top tip: ask the PhotoPhass Photographers for magic shots – you never know what special effect will appear in your photos.
If you’re in the mood for some more character spotting during your day at the park, I never miss a chance to say “hi!” to Mickey at Town Square Theater.
Over at Fantasyland you’ll find many of our favourite character friends, including Donald Duck, Goofy, Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse at Pete’s Silly Sideshow. If Disney princesses are more your style, you’ll meet several of them at Princess Fairytale Hall.
In Tomorrowland, you might find Stitch hanging around, making mischief between Carousel of Progress and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
This
Magic Kingdom Park guide map shows you – by numbered location - where all the official characters hang out, including:
Mickey at Town Square Theater (3)
Princess Fairytale Hall (58)
Pete’s Silly Sideshow, over towards the Fantasyland railroad station (50).
Stitch is not officially marked on the map, but you might find him between map references 75 and 76.
Look for the Character Greeting symbol (side profile of Mickey) around the park.
You’ll see all the character spots on your My Disney Experience mobile app – download it to your phone before you leave for your holiday so you can use it as soon as you arrive in the US. It will show all the characters around each Walt Disney World theme park, along with real-time wait times for all the rides. For some reason, that naughty Stitch doesn’t show on the app, so your best bet is to head to Tomorrowland to try and catch him there.
