suddenly going to WDW for 2 days in March! We want to explore all new Star Wars attractions! what do we need to know ahead of time & how must we plan to maximize our time best? We have 12& 16 yr old huge fans;must try new rides

    Bright Suns, Megan!

Traveling to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is an out of this world experience. I was blown away at this incredibly immersive experience. The attention to detail is beyond impressive. The Imagineers have left no stone unturned, they have truly thought of everything.

Due to the overwhelming popularity, us Travelers sure do seem to rise early to try for a chance to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. To experience this attraction, you will need to gain Access by Boarding Group. My best advice is to arrive at Disney’s Hollywood Studios before Theme Park opening. The only way to join a Boarding Group is to join a virtual queue via the My Disney Experience Mobile app. If you arrive and enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios before opening, you will wait on Hollywood Blvd. Have your app open and ready. Once the park officially opens, you can attempt to “Join Boarding Group.” All members of your party will need to be scanned into the park to be eligible. If you were able to join a boarding group, you will be notified later in the day when it is your time to join the resistance.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is an interactive mission where you and your team members get to fly the Millennium Falcon. Each member of your flight crew has a job to do, and each of you has a crucial role. Sit back and hang on as you launch into hyperspace.

Make sure to save time to explore Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu. Here you can grab a bite at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or grab a mouthwatering grilled sausage and roasted pork wrap at Ronto Roasters. You may also find a curious artifact at Dok-Ondar’s den on Antiquities.

Remember, I said how immersive this land is? Make sure to download the Play Disney Parks app for interactive adventures in Black Spire Outpost. I also highly recommend striking up a conversation with the people of Batuu. Take your time and enjoy this fantastic experience.

    May the Spires Keep You
