Well...I have successfully exceeded my budget with a room upgrade I really wanted at CBR! Trying to think of other ways to save. Is it true I can have Disney photographers use my camera to take our pics w/out purchasing memory maker? R they OK with it?

Hey Laurie!  I love staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, it is worth the upgrade.

You can absolutely have the PhotoPass photographers take pictures with your personal camera and/or phone.  I do this every vacation.  The photographers are happy to do it and I have never felt rushed or like a bother.  It is a great way for the whole family to be in the picture and save a little bit of money.

Another money saver for my family is to bring our own drinks inside the Disney Theme Parks.  We can purchase a case of soda at our local store for what 2 large sodas will run inside the parks.  At any counter service location you can request a free glass of ice or ice water.  We pack our sodas in a small soft sided cooler but always ask for a big cup of ice to pour it in.  I pack several sodas and juice boxes to last us the day.  If you are not a soda drinker, you can get a large cup of ice water for free as well.  It saves us a lot of money!

You are absolutely going to love staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, it is beautiful!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
