    If I am successful at 7am at getting a boarding time for Rise of the Resistance, but that time is not until after 2:00, can I change my park reservation to visit another park in the morning and then park hop to HS without loosing my boarding time?

    Welcome to our galactic panel of Disney-loving travelers! We can tell that the Force is strong in your family! 

    You’re definitely thinking like a Jedi, Angela! Though, I’m sorry to say, you will not be able to keep your spot in the Virtual Queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance if you change your Disney Park Pass Reservation for the day. According to the Jedi Council, “Only Guests with a Disney Park Pass Reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be able to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.” Therefore, if you cancel your Disney Park Pass Reservation, you cancel your chance to experience the most EPIC attraction in the galaxy! 

    Also, because of the fluctuations in the Virtual Queue, you never know when your Boarding Group will be called! Often the line moves much quicker than anticipated, so you’ll want to be close by if you secure a spot in the Virtual Queue! 

    There’s plenty to do at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Angela! Make sure to visit my new favorite attraction: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway! And, if you’re looking for an amazing meal, consider making a Dining Reservation for Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant! Their burgers, shakes, and entertainment will be a highlight of your trip!
