Greetings Rebecca Annie and welcome to planDisney!
I can’t wait to hear the “welcome home” greeting when I arrive at
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows on my next trip in November! The Polynesian is one of my
Disney Vacation Club homes, and I am so excited to hang out in a hammock on the beach near the Island Tower right out in front of the
Wailulu Bar & Grill!
Rebecca Annie, make sure you set your alarm to get your dining reservation set up for the Wailulu Bar & Grill so you can get those much-desired fireworks reservation time slots! There is a beautiful view of the fireworks over Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom from most of the outdoor dining locations at the Wailulu Bar & Grill! I would try to get a reservation time about an hour before the fireworks show begins and when you arrive at Wailulu, inquire with a friendly Cast Member about the best place to sit in order to get a great view of the fireworks! While you are enjoying your delicious meal, make sure you take the time to admire the Polynesian artwork that was handcrafted exclusively for the location! The scenic setting overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon has jumped up near the top of my list of favorite places to enjoy a sunset and a perfect night at the most magical place on earth!
Rebecca Annie, if you’re like me, after enjoying a great meal at Wailulu and enjoying a spectacular fireworks display, you’ll want to take a tiki torch lit stroll around the Polynesian Village grounds and cap off the night by enjoying a Mickey Bar or two! Have a great adventure!
