Are there any substitutions for the food at Hoop Dee Doo? My husband is allergic to poultry, pork, and strawberries, for starters, & that's most of the menu. If not, we'll have to cross it off our list :( If they will, do you know what his choice is?

    Hi Jennifer,

Disney does a great job at working to accommodate guests with food allergies, so that they, like all Disney visitors, leave their vacation at least 5 pounds heavier than when they started!  (Well, ok, that's a bit of hyperbole, but that's just because of all the walking!)  The dinner shows (Hoop Dee Doo Review, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, and Spirit of Aloha Show) are able to accommodate allergies in addition to table service restaurants.  In order to ensure that your husband's needs are met, you should notify the Disney Dining line by calling (407) 939-3463 in advance of your reservation to let them know what your husband's specific allergies are.  At the time of your reservation, the chef (or another qualified Cast Member) will come out to speak with you and your family before dining to discuss his needs and preferences for a meal choice.  (If you plan on dining at other table service restaurants, please ensure that you mention this to the cast member who you speak with so that it can be noted on each reservation.)

Hoop Dee Doo is a fantastic, fun-filled show, that's a great way to end the perfect Disney day.  Feel free to call the dining line to ensure that it can be part of your vacation!

    Have a magical trip!
