Can I substitute a salad or appetizer for the desert with the Disney table service dining plan?

    Hi Lewis,

Thank you for stopping by today to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope your vacation is coming up soon, as there are so many new exciting experiences to explore, especially with the recent opening of Pandora - The World of Avatar.

My family loves the Disney Dining Plans and with them, we no longer have to worry about how much money we will need for food. We can easily prepay our meals and bundle everything in a Magic Your Way Vacation Package. All you need to worry about is which restaurants to choose.

Some Guests like to share a dessert and an appetizer. In general, you can substitute a dessert for a small salad or appetizer at Table-Service restaurants. Just be sure to ask your server for options when they take your order.

One last tip: be sure to make your advanced dining reservations up 180 days before your Check-In. The easiest way to do it is with the My Disney Experience mobile app. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
