Can you substitute a quick service meal with a table service credit

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My family and I are big fans of the Disney Dining Plan.  As a matter of fact, it is a "must do" with every Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  Using the DDP is a great way for us to keep our food budget in check.  With the numerous dining options at WDW, you cannot go wrong with the DDP.

At this time, you may use a table service credit for a quick service meal.  However, you may not use a quick service meal in exchange for a table service.  I hope this makes sense.  Just make sure that this is what you really want to do.  You get so much more for your money with the table service credit and using it as such just makes sense.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  I highly recommend character dining, such as Chef Mickey's, for your table service credits.  It's a great way to avoid the long character lines that you will find in the parks.  With character dining, Disney Pals will be more than happy to drop by your table for photo and autograph opportunities.

Thank you so much for visiting with us.  Please join us again real soon should any new questions pop-up. We want to make sure that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is filled with many new and MAGICAL memories.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
