Are there any studios that connect to other studios?

    Hiya Jordan,

Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited that you are here and that we get to be a part of planning the vacation of your dreams! Now that I have two toddlers, we love staying in a studio or one bedroom at a Deluxe Villa resort. Having the extra space for them to play and sleep just makes everything so much more relaxing, and who doesn’t want that on a vacation?

Am I right in guessing that you are either planning a multi-family or a large family vacation, Jordan? Whenever we travel with our nephews, we like to get a connecting room so the cousins can run back and forth to play! In my experience, at most Deluxe Villa Resorts, a studio room typically connects to a one-bedroom villa. However, I spoke to Warren, a friendly Cast Member, and he told me that there are two Deluxe Villa resorts with availability for two connecting studios. The first is Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort. There are select studios that connect to other studios in the Theme Park view category. The second is the always iconic Polynesian Villas and Bungalows, where you can find select connecting studios in the preferred and resort view categories. When you make your reservations, be sure to either call to speak to a Cast Member or use the My Disney Experience mobile app to request a connecting room. As a reminder, connecting rooms are limited, so there are no guarantees, but Cast Members do their best to honor these requests.

I hope this was helpful, Jordan! Before I let you go, don’t forget to think ahead about dining reservations. If you have a large party, there are some dining locations that can accommodate larger groups more easily, such as Biergarten Restaurant or Boma - Flavors of Africa, while others you may need to book reservations for smaller parties and then request to be seated near one another. If you have an idea of where you want to dine or just want some ideas, please come back and see us. We are always happy to chat about dining at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
