Hiya, Rachael!
Cheers from across the Buckeye State and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. As a fellow coffee lover, I know how important that cup of brewed morning magic can be, especially when you're preparing for a long day of adventure in Walt Disney World theme parks. Let me share a few details about the coffee situation at
Disney's Old Key West Resort and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House to help you enjoy your daily pick-me-up throughout your visit.
I'm happy to report that you'll find k-cup brewers in
all the Villa accommodations at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House, including the Deluxe Villas. While you're certainly welcome to bring your own pods from home, know that your room will also come stocked with Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Co. pods, as well as a selection of creamers and sweeteners. During my last few visits, I was so excited to find that my room had the Joffrey's Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Blend K-Cups –– not only was the coffee delicious, but the little pods with the 50th Anniversary logo were so cute that I wanted to bring them home with me!
However, over at Disney's Old Key West Resort, things are a little different –– in most Villa accommodations, you'll find a traditional drip-style pot to enjoy your morning cup 'o Joe (the exceptions to this are the 3-Bedroom Grand Villas which have a combo coffee pot/k-cup machine). You'll also find a selection of Joffrey's coffee and tea, creamers, and sweeteners in these rooms, but instead of the k-cup pods, you'll find self-contained coffee and filter packets. If you'd like to bring a favorite blend from home to enjoy in these rooms, be sure that you also throw a few standard, flat-bottomed filters in your suitcase, as well. And if you need additional coffee supplies at either Resort during your visit, you can easily request more with a quick call to
Housekeeping from your room.
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney, Rachael. I'm wishing you many well-caffeinated adventures and plenty of pixie dust during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
