I have a studio villa at Animal Kingdom for 4 nights/ in November. My parents decided to join and rented a 2 bedroom villa for 5 nights. I wanted to join my parents in their room for the last night since they have additional capacity - is that possible?

Hey howdy hey Monica and welcome to planDisney!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is such a great resort with so many amenities and things to do that it truly is a destination itself. From the vast viewings of all the wildlife on the Savanna, the pools and of course the food, there is so much there to be experienced. My girls loved going to different parts of the resort to see what new wildlife was at each place. My wife and I loved eating at Sanaa, the bread service alone is worth the trip over to Kidani Village to try it out! One of the other many benefits comes with accommodation ability. As you are finding out, Animal Kingdom Lodge has the ability to accommodate parties of 4 all the way up to parties of 12 with the Grand Villa option. So long story short with your request is that it depends.

Your question about staying with your parents in the 2 bedroom villa will highly depend on occupancy. Since you will be starting off in a Studio Villa that sleeps 4 adults and they are staying in a 2 bedroom villa that sleeps 8 it would depend on how many would be sleeping in the room the last night. As long as that last night is 8 or less, yes you would be able to spend the last night in the room with your parents. Just know on this last night, since you and your party are not listed on the initial reservation you will not have access to the room such as opening the door. When you check-out of your resort to stay with your parents, you can talk with a Cast Member about adding your travel party to your parent's reservation so you would have access to the door lock function which should not be much of an issue.

Good luck with your continued planning for your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth in November. If you have any further questions let us know, we love talking about all things Disney!

    Happy planning,
