We have a studio booked at the beach club resort what is the difference between this and a one bedroom villa? I am concerned about my husbands snoring and me and my son not getting any sleep. With the studio is the couch and the bed in the same room?

Hi Tricia! I think we've all been there, but you can't have anything getting in the way of a magical stay at Walt Disney World Resort...not even snoring!

The main difference between a studio and a 1-bedroom villa at Disney Vacation Club resort is overall size, a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer.  With the spacious accommodations of a 1-bedroom villa there's plenty of room for everyone to stretch out with at least 2 bathrooms, a living room space and most importantly separate sleeping quarters. A full size kitchen and washer and dryer are also standard. In the living room there's a queen-size sleeper sofa and single sleeper recliner chair.

In studio villa, sleeping and living room quarters are combined in the same main room. If booking a 1-bedroom villa is not an option, here are some tried and true tips for dealing with a snorer:

-prop a firm pillow behind your husband to make sure he can only sleep on his side, this is the best position for proper air flow

-no drinking or late night eating especially spicy foods before bedtime as this increases snoring

-try nasal strips which makes breathing through the nose easier

-if all else fails, muffle the sound with earphones or earplugs for you and your son

I hope these suggestions help you enjoy a magical, memorable and restful Disney vacation.
