We have 40 students and 5 adults in our group. How do we give the students control of their own tickets for genie +

    Hiya Josh!

Welcome to planDisney! Wow! What an adventure you are planning! That many people to manage all at once sounds exhilarating!

Now, I don't know the age of all these students but if they are 13 years old or older they can create their own My Disney Experience account. This gets easier if they each have a smartphone so that they can download their own My Disney Experience Mobile App. Creating their own My Disney Experience account will let them be able to manage their own Genie+ and Lightning Lane bookings. Just assign each student their ticket to their My Disney Experience account. It is important that if they want to share the joy and try to book an experience together with their friends they should link themselves together on the Family & Friends list. This way they can select who they want to experience an attraction with when they grab a Lightning Lane.

At this time, one guest can only make a Lightning Lane reservation for up to 12 guests so if they all want to ride attractions together then at least 4 people need to at minimum have their own My Disney Experience account and manage the bookings for everyone. This will be the solution as well if they are not 13 or older or if it's a mixed group of ages. Find designated trustworthy students that are 13 years and older who can help handle their friend group. Those who are under the age of 13 will just have their name entered into the Family & Friends list but have no power to make any decisions.

Very important to note that anyone under the age of 18 cannot have a credit card or other kind of payment saved on the My Disney Experience app. That means they cannot do Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering or do Merchandise Mobile Checkout without putting in payment information manually each time. This shouldn't be an issue as they can always manually enter payment information or I prefer the gift card method with minors. Provide them with a pre-loaded Disney Gift Card that they could use as payment. The easiest way to do this is to save the information as a "Note" on their phone and just copy and paste the numbers into the payment screen. They can view their balances each time they check out!

I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please let me know!
