Hello! I am a student at UC Irvine. I was wondering if I can purchase the SoCal resident tickets even though my driver's license has my parents address on it? Can I show my student ID? Thank you!

Hi, Megan, and a very warm welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your great question.

Sounds like you're interested in taking advantage of the limited Southern California Resident Ticket offer. This special 3-day, one park per day ticket is for Guests who reside within ZIP codes 90000 and 93599. Any Guest using this SoCal Resident Ticket must show proof of Southern California residency at the park entrance with a government-issued photo ID, which means a California driver's license or California ID showing proof of eligible residency, and, unfortunately, a student ID will not suffice. You may have time to head over to the local DMV though, Megan, to see if you're able to obtain a temporary photo ID with your updated address. I'd hate to have you miss out on this great deal!

Although I wish I had better news for you, Megan, I hope this information has been helpful, at least! And I'll keep my fingers crossed that, with a little pixie dust, the dreams that you wish will indeed come true.

Come visit us again real soon!

    Your pal,

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
