    I am stuck between the Polynesian and Contemporary. We will be traveling with a 4 and 6yr old, and am leaning toward Contemp since you can walk to the MK. Is the "10 min walk" a good idea with young children?

    Hi Kathy,

    Are you bringing a stroller?  The 10 minute walk can be tough on little legs - especially after a day in the park.  If you end up having to carry a tired 4 year old at the end of a long day, the 10 minute walk can be tough for adults as well.

    My daughter will be 4 on our next visit to Walt Disney World, and we'll definitely be bringing an umbrella stroller.  She may not use it much, but it's nice to have when she gets tired of walking, and they do get tired of walking.

    The Contemporary is a great resort!  It's so easy to get to the Magic Kingdom, and the Transportation and Ticket Center is just a monorail stop away.
