We're STUCK. There are 6 in our family, and we're planning a trip in October. Our kids will be 7, 5, and the twins will be 2. They'll need a separate napping area. Which resort is best for keeping everyone separate, but sticking to a budget?

Hi Sarah! This is always a tough decision especially when you are trying to stick within a budget!

The best value for your dollar will be to consider staying at one of the Family Suites in the Value resorts. All Star Music has a few of these and then the new Art of Animation resort which opens in May will have many to choose from. These suites give you a separate bedroom making nap time for the little ones easy. They also offer two bathrooms which is a dream when trying to get ready in the morning or getting everyone to bed at a decent hour at night. I'm very excited about the new resort as it will have some new technology and design!

A moderate level choice would be the cabins at Fort Wilderness.  My family loves these and we use them often on vacations as we come with a motor coach many times and the rest of the family stays in the cabins which are close by.  Fort Wilderness is unique and almost like a park in itself with lots of entertainment and recreation. The cabins come with a fully equipped kitchen making simple cooking nice for large families who might want to save a little on food.  The back bedroom has bunk beds and a double bed. The closet is small and the room is small but if that doesn't matter it works fine. There is only one bathroom in the short hallway.  You will have a full size table as well as a small children's table and chairs. There is a sofa and coffee table as well in the living area and there is a DVD player with the TV.  The murphy bed pulls down in the evening and it is a double size....and actually quite comfortable.

If you wanted to spend more then checkout the Deluxe Villas throughout the property. There are different sizes and they too will come with full kitchens. Check HERE to review all possibilities for the size of your family.  My vote is to head to Art of Animation!
