Hi Heather! Disney Character Dining is one of the truly memorable experiences when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort! There have been some changes to Character Dining over the past few months. I'm happy to help get you up to speed on those changes so that you can begin your planning!
The first note of importance that I want to share is that you can make your advanced dining reservations 60-days prior to your arrival date for your vacation! This is so important to know because Character Dining experiences are extremely popular and get booked fast! Make a note of the 60-day mark on your personal calendar so that you have a reminder to make your reservations!
There are some really great Character Dining experiences that your four kids (and you) are going to love! Mickey and his pals are currently hosting Guests at
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort! This celebratory-themed Character Dining experience is available for breakfast! If seeing Mickey and pals is your priority, then another great place to visit is
Topolino's Terrace at Disney's new Riviera Resort! This experience is also available for breakfast each morning. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy are dressed in adorable outfits inspired by the European arts! If you like their outfits as much as I do, plush likenesses of the "fabulous four" are available in the
La Boutique gift shop!
Another option is to join Chip, Dale, and some other Disney friends at
Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT! This Character Dining experience is available for lunch and dinner! One of my favorite restaurants in all of the Walt Disney World Resort is
Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park! Here you will dine in Beast's Castle! While not technically considered to be Character Dining, the "master of the castle" himself has been known to make appearances! This restaurant is available for both lunch and dinner!
Heather, don't forget to make a note of that magical 60-day date on your calendar!
Hakuna Matata! Jonathan
