My stroller is 44”L x 24”W. Is that an appropriate size to take into Disneyland ?

    Hi there, Laura!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney! I am always happy to answer a question from a fellow Nevadan. This is a perfect time of year to head to Disneyland Resort from Nevada!

I am glad you are researching approved stroller sizes before you arrive at Disneyland to avoid any issues during your trip. According to the Disneyland Guidelines, strollers larger than 31" (79 cm) wide x 52" (132 cm) long and wagons are not permitted. It sounds like your stroller meets those requirements! Hurray! My youngest child has almost outgrown strollers, and I am very sad about it! I love giving my kiddo a break from walking, and the stroller is also a great storage spot for sweatshirts and water bottles. Keep in mind that most items will need to be removed from the stroller as you enter the Security Checkpoints, and then you can put them back. I usually put our extra clothing in a packing cube so it is easy to grab.

If you decide to leave your stroller at home, you could instead rent a stroller at Disneyland. Stroller rentals are available outside the theme parks, just east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. Rented strollers may be used in both Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park.

I hope you have time to enjoy the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival during your visit! It is one of my favorite events at Disneyland! Last year, I loved the Carbonara Garlic Mac & Cheese featuring Nueske’s Peppered Bacon and the Mickey-shaped Macaron made with SNICKERS bar pieces. They were both incredibly delicious! This year, I can't wait to try the Cheeseburger Bao with Thousand Island dressing, grilled onions, pickle, and tomato relish, as well as the S’mores Caramel Tart, a graham cracker tart shell filled with caramel and chocolate ganache topped with a toasted marshmallow. I made a list of "must-try" items from the Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide for this year's Festival!

Laura, thank you again for reaching out to planDisney. If you have other questions, feel free to contact me directly!

    Have a Wonderous Journey!
