Hi Reena,
Thank you for stopping by
planDisney today with your question about stroller rental, and I am happy to help you find your answer today!
As a mom of 4 Mouseketeers, I have pushed strollers through the Walt Disney World Resort for many miles throughout the years. Although my youngest is now a new teenager, I have fond memories of my children in strollers and will always cherish those memories. In fact, my kids have told me that they enjoyed using a stroller when they were older than the typical toddler aged children who most often use strollers. Their reason is because they felt like they could enjoy touring the theme parks more because they could just sit back and take in the sights and not have to worry about navigating and following their parents. I think using a stroller also allows children to take as many breaks as they need and helps preserve their energy. Plus, strollers offer a great place to store items instead of carrying them! When I was down to just one child who used a stroller, I still rented a double stroller just for the extra storage space. The second seat was dubbed the "snack seat" and held our backpack that contained our snacks and water bottles. To be honest, I still miss the snack seat.
I have good news for you, yes you certainly may
rent strollers at the Walt Disney World Resort! You may choose to either rent a stroller for use inside any of the
Walt Disney World theme parks and
Disney Springs. Alternatively, you may rent a stroller for your entire length of stay through a Disney featured provider and use it anywhere you want to go including outside of the theme parks and Disney Springs. Personally, I almost always rented a stroller that I could also use outside of the theme parks. I really liked the convenience of having it delivered and picked up from my Disney Resort hotel as it saved so much time. Not to mention that being able to use a stroller at my Disney Resort hotel was invaluable! I don't know about you, but children seem to double in weight whenever they fall asleep and being able to use a stroller to bring them back to our Disney Resort hotel instead of carrying them always felt like a luxury.
