Hey there, Derek! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I bet you’re very excited to arrive at the Disneyland Resort this week!
Good news, you can bring your own stroller or rent one there. If bringing your own, you’ll want to measure it at home first to ensure it meets the size requirements. Strollers cannot be larger than 31 inches by 52 inches. The easiest way to check this at home is to use painter’s tape to create a rectangle on the ground with these measurements, then roll your stroller in to see if it fits!
If you’d prefer to rent a stroller, look for the
Stroller Rentals area near the entrance of Disneyland Park. They are available to rent by the day on a first come, first served basis. You can use the stroller in both theme parks and the Downtown Disney District. Current prices are $18.00 per day for one stroller, and $36.00 per day for a double stroller (prices subject to change.) If you do plan to rent a stroller, I recommend bringing a bright colored string or something else you can tie around the handle to easily identify it when it’s parked amongst similar strollers.
For reference, you can find a
list of permitted items on the Disneyland Resort website.
Derek, since you’re traveling with younger Mouseketeers, I wanted to point out that most
attractions do not have height requirements. I have been taking my daughters to the theme parks since they were babies. There were plenty of attractions we could do as a family when they were infants and toddlers. For attractions they aren’t tall enough to experience, you can inquire if
Rider Switch is available. Just ask the Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction. This enables one adult Guest to wait with the younger ones not tall enough to ride, while the other adult Guest enjoys the attraction – then, the adult Guests can switch places without having to stand in the queue again.
I hope your trip is fantastic to infinity and beyond!
