    I see that there are strollers available on first come basis. Are they full strollers that lay out or are they umbrella strollers? I’m traveling with my 18mth old and am trying to decide if I need to bring my own stroller.

    Hi there Richelle!  

    Your cruise is coming up so soon!  I know you are eagerly marking down the days until you are headed on a magical vacation!  Being on a Disney Cruise ship is a great getaway from the cold winter weather.  

    On each ship, Guest Services does have a limited number of strollers available for Guests to check out.  They are three-wheeled jogging strollers and require a deposit of $200.  When returned, the deposit is refunded to you.  From my experience of traveling with young ones, I typically prefer to bring my own personal umbrella sized stroller to ensure that I do have one since they only have a limited number.  The larger jogging strollers are hard to fit into the staterooms and it’s not always convenient to find a place to store when you are in your stateroom.  An umbrella stroller can collapse and easily fit underneath the bed in the room keeping it out of your walkway.   My boys would also take cat naps while on the go, so its definitely nice to have one handy!

    Disney Cruise Line makes traveling with little ones so easy and enjoyable.  Be sure to speak with your stateroom host or hostess about getting a diaper pail and pack and play in your room as well as your servers in the main dining room can take special requests for meals! Don't forget to check out the Navigator app or daily Navigator to see the activities onboard for the youngest cruisers! The gift shops also have miscellaneous items you may have forgotten and the nursery is a great place for littles to take an afternoon nap!
