Hi Kristen!
There is nothing more magical than visiting Mickey with your little ones, but I know from vacations with my own kids that it's very important to have a comfy spot for your little ones to rest their legs during a busy theme park day. This will ensure that your kids have plenty of energy to enjoy the incredible nighttime entertainment at the theme parks. In fact, my kids have even taken naps in their stroller right in the park!
Just last week, the
Disney Parks Blog announced an update to the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules that included an update to guidelines on strollers that will be permitted into the theme parks. As of May 1, all strollers that are larger than 31″ (79cm) wide and 52″ (132cm) long will not be permitted in the theme parks. Wagons are already not permitted in the theme parks and as of May 1, stroller wagons will also be prohibited from the theme parks. So, unfortunately, if you will be enjoying Walt Disney World Resort after May 1, your stroller will not be permitted in the theme parks if it is 31.5" wide. I recommend that you check out the
Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules for additional information as you continue planning your vacation.
There are several types of single and double strollers that fit within this guideline if you would like to purchase a new one for your trip. You can also
rent a stroller from the Stroller Rental locations at each of the theme parks and Disney Springs. I love to use the rental strollers at Walt Disney World Resort because it's so easy and they have plenty of room for my kids to fit their long legs!
T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
